Are Your Marketing Materials Remarkable?
Your marketing materials are often the first impression people get of your company. Your materials should make people think, WOW! If a person picks up your brochure or logs onto your website, what will they think about the quality of YOUR services?
Here are some tips:
- Don’t hand out a homemade business card.
- Don’t try to cram every bit of possible information onto your business card.
- Don’t print out your own marketing materials.
- Go to a professional designer to create your marketing materials.
- Make sure all of your links on your website work.
- Add your website URL to all of your printed materials.
- Avoid clipart in your printed materials and don’t use animated .gifs on your website.
- Make sure your materials are consistent.
Professional, high-quality marketing tools will move your prospects closer to making a purchase. Remember, if a prospective customer views your materials as unprofessional or confusing, you will lose them to a competitor. If you want more business, make sure your materials are remarkable!
ACTION ITEM: Take a look at your marketing materials. If they aren’t projecting your best image, it’s time to invest money in getting them overhauled!
